Roland Hung is a partner whose practice covers business law generally, with particular emphasis on technology, privacy compliance, cybersecurity and data management. He previously served as Senior Legal Counsel and Global Privacy Officer at a multinational company, and as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Privacy Officer of a technology company. Roland advises financial institutions, manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, municipalities and educational and medical institutions on meeting privacy and regulatory standards for new products and technologies. He has appeared before administrative boards, privacy regulators, courts and arbitrators on commercial and privacy matters. Roland was called to the Alberta Bar in 2010 and the Ontario Bar in 2015, holding an LLB from the University of Calgary and degrees from the University of Alberta. He also speaks Cantonese.
