About Robert
Robert Stack practices litigation with particular expertise in securities litigation and professional regulation, having appeared before administrative bodies in regulatory and securities matters and courts in quasi-criminal cases involving misrepresentation, fraud, insider trading, and financial disclosure violations. He has broad experience in employment law, general commercial litigation, director and officer liability, property loss cases, insurance, and constitutional and administrative law, and has secured judgments including one over $850,000 in an investor recovery matter. Robert has appeared at all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada, the Alberta and Saskatchewan Courts of Appeal, and the Alberta Securities Commission. He earned his BA in History with High Honours from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992, a Master of Arts in History from the same school in 1995, and his LLB from the University of Victoria in 2000, and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2001 and the Alberta bar in 2003. He has chaired the Civil Litigation Subsection of the CBA for Southern Alberta.
