About Robert

Robert Olson is a partner at TDS whose practice is focused on labour and employment. He has significant experience in unionized workplaces, acting primarily for employers but also unions and employees, and conducts independent workplace investigations. He also handles pension law issues and advises and defends employers in Workplace Safety and Health inspections, investigations, and charges. Rob assists clients before human rights commissions and labour boards, providing advice, preparing submissions, and appearing as counsel. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) from the University of Manitoba (1999) and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law (2003), where he was admitted to the Order of Barristers for oral advocacy. He was called to the Manitoba bar in 2004 and speaks French. He has been recognized multiple times as a Labour & Employment 'Future Star' among Manitoba lawyers.
