About Robert
Robert Ellis, who previously operated his own boutique firm before joining Richards Buell Sutton, represents national, international, and local financial institutions, corporations, and individuals in matters including real estate disputes, contract enforcement, shareholder actions, wrongful dismissal, and estate matters. His approach emphasizes risk assessment and strategy formulation with a focus on practical dispute resolution. He has lectured through various legal education organizations and served as Director and Chair of the boards of St. George's School and Fraser Academy, and has been Ombudsman for the Independent Schools Association of B.C. for over 17 years. He holds an LL.B. and a B.A. from the University of British Columbia, and was called to the bar in 1975.
