About Robert
Robert E. Sugar has practiced exclusively in personal injury and property insurance litigation since being called to the Ontario bar in 1981, after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1979. He joined Malach & Fidler as a partner in 1993 and became a named partner of Malach Fidler Sugar + Luxenberg LLP in 2011. His trial experience spans every level of the Ontario court system, acting for both plaintiffs and insurers, and he has also resolved many claims through private mediation. Rob has lectured at continuing legal education seminars and taught at Osgoode Hall's Trial Advocacy Program, and he personally attends nearly all examinations, mediations and trials on his files. He belongs to the Canadian Bar Association and the Advocates' Society.
