About Ricky
Ricky Lifshits works exclusively within the Family Law Department at Hummingbird Lawyers, where she takes a client-centred approach to designing solutions tailored to each family's needs. Her practice of collaborative family law emphasizes negotiated, mutually beneficial agreements over costly courtroom battles. She handles parenting issues, child and spousal support, matrimonial property equalization, and the negotiation and drafting of separation, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements. Ricky spent several years volunteering with organizations that serve marginalized communities, which has given her experience assisting clients from a wide range of backgrounds. She was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2014 and the Ontario Bar in 2021, and holds a J.D. from the University of Calgary and a B.A. Honours from Queen's University.
