About Amiri
Amiri Dear practices in the Civil Litigation Division at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP, with particular interest in employment and real estate related disputes. He was called to the Barbados bar in 2006, completed an LL.M. at the University of Toronto in 2012, and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2015. He has appeared before courts and tribunals at senior levels in both Ontario and the Caribbean, representing corporations and individuals. Amiri also has an interest in sports law, particularly combat sports, and has served as a policy consultant to Muaythai Ontario since 2016, work that helped the organization gain provincial recognition as a sporting body.
