About Amy
Amy M. MacAlpine leads the Wills & Estates practice at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP, drawing on more than 25 years of experience in elder law and estate planning. A Boston native, she prepares estate plans for high net worth families, family businesses and special-needs family members, and her litigation work covers will challenges, passing of accounts, elder abuse and common-law spouse entitlements. Amy also supports family law and civil litigation files involving constructive trust and dependant support claims. She holds a J.D. from New York Law School and was called to the Ontario bar in 2013, having previously been licensed in Massachusetts. She is a Law Society of Ontario certified specialist in Estates and Trusts Law and has chaired both the CBA and OBA Elder Law sections.
