About Richard

Richard Nishimura is a founding member and the managing partner of MZS Lawyers. He's an experienced civil litigator with expertise in estate disputes, personal injury, automobile accidents, wrongful dismissal, and real estate disputes, and he has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice (civil, family, and small claims branches), the Human Rights Tribunal, and Small Claims Court. Before practising law, Richard worked for the Senate of Canada and spent several years as a human rights advocate in Washington, D.C., including serving as chairman of the board of the Canada Tibet Committee. He's a graduate of Dalhousie Law School with more than 17 years of experience as a lawyer.
