Binavince holds a law degree from Yale Law School and an undergraduate degree from Amherst College, and studied for a time in the University of Ottawa's Common Law Section. Before MZS Lawyers, Binavince practiced law from 2000 to late 2006 alongside family member Emilio Binavince, and as a young man had the chance to see Emilio Binavince argue the Operation Dismantle case at the Supreme Court of Canada.
