About Richard
Richard Buchwald, K.C. is a partner at Pitblado Law practising commercial and civil litigation, agribusiness matters, debtor and creditor relations, banking, and estate matters. Buchwald earned a J.D. from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in 1991 and a B.A. from the University of Manitoba in 1986, and was admitted to the Manitoba Bar in 1994. Buchwald is a Life Bencher of the Law Society of Manitoba, has chaired its Complaints Investigation Committee and its President's Special Committee on Fees and Disbursements, and served as President of the Manitoba Bar Association from 2003 to 2004. Buchwald also sits on the board of the Health Sciences Centre Foundation.
