About Richard

Richard Barton practises personal injury litigation and commercial litigation at DuMoulin Boskovich, having appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia, including the Court of Appeal. He moved to Canada from the United Kingdom in 1984, taught English in Yamagata, Japan, and became a partner at a prominent Vernon law firm before joining DuMoulin Boskovich in August 2021. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Western Ontario (1991), a Master's degree in Japanese Studies from the University of Essex (1995), and a Bachelor of Laws from UBC (1999). He is a member of the Kalamalka Rotary Club.
