About Rhian
Rhian Foley is an associate lawyer at Nelligan Law in its employment, labour, and litigation groups, having joined as a summer student in 2020 and completed her articles with the firm in 2022 before returning as an associate. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, where she worked at a Community Legal Clinic and as a Research Assistant, and served as Research Chair of the University of Ottawa chapter of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers. Foley represented an engineer alongside Tracy Lyle in Koshman v Controlex Corporation, 2023 ONSC 7045. Originally from Newfoundland, she has lived in several parts of Canada before settling in Ottawa.
