About Alexander
McGillivray is an associate with Osler's construction, infrastructure and energy practice. McGillivray's work spans corporate and commercial matters, project finance and regulatory issues, with particular emphasis on the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors. McGillivray assists clients with large infrastructure projects, public-private partnerships, renewable energy transactions, and commercial and industrial construction work. McGillivray holds common law and civil law degrees from McGill University, along with an honours arts degree in international development from Queen's University. While studying law, McGillivray served as managing editor of a sustainable development law journal at McGill and, as a summer student in 2018, worked on legal operations for major projects at Infrastructure Ontario. McGillivray joined Osler as a summer student in 2019 and completed an articling term with the firm in 2021.
