About Renée
Renée Konotopsky has practiced family law exclusively since 2001, focusing on helping clients resolve parenting and financial issues through mutual respect and, where possible, a working relationship that continues after separation. She has taken extensive training in mediation and collaborative law and acts as a private mediator and as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Court of King's Bench of Alberta. Konotopsky has a particular interest in drafting cohabitation, prenuptial, marriage, and settlement agreements. She studied at Memorial University of Newfoundland and earned her law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2000, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2001. She volunteers with law students completing their bar admission through the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education and with the community through Calgary Legal Guidance.
