About Carolyn

Carolyn Collins joined Maverick Law as a Barrister & Solicitor after completing her articles with the firm in 2024. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Calgary, studied International Political Strategy at the University of Copenhagen, and earned her law degree at the University of Edinburgh. Before moving into legal practice, she worked in the non-profit sector leading programs across North America that applied neuroscience research to policy and practice in healthcare, education, government, and legal systems. Drawing on a background in competitive equine sport, she has built an Equine Sport Law practice with a cross-border scope alongside the firm's broader practice areas.
