About Suman

Parmar is a family lawyer at VML Family Law who earned her Political Science degree from the University of Calgary and worked with the late Minister Manmeet Bhullar before pursuing a legal education in family law and dispute resolution at the University of Leicester in the UK. She articled as a student prosecutor with the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, gaining courtroom experience before her 2021 call to the Alberta Bar. Since then she has practised exclusively in family law, handling separation, divorce, property division, parenting, child and spousal support, and emergency protection orders. She is proficient in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
