About Brad
Brad Mustard, K.C. has practiced family law for over 20 years, with a focus on mediation and arbitration of family law disputes and on solving complex property, support, and parenting matters. He acts as an arbitrator, mediator, parenting coordinator, and collaborative lawyer, and appears in court and at contested arbitrations when litigation becomes necessary. Mustard earned a Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2016 and is a regular presenter on negotiation and mediation at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law. He has chaired the Association of Collaborative Lawyers and the Distress Centre Calgary board, and serves on the board of the Alberta Family Mediation Society. He was named Best Lawyers' Lawyer of the Year for Family Mediation in 2023 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in family law and family law mediation since 2022, and by Doyle's Guide since 2017. He was called to the Alberta bar in 2001.
