About Reidar
Reidar Mogerman, KC, is a partner at CFM Lawyers with a practice grounded in holding corporations and institutions accountable for wrongdoing, including class actions, aviation accidents, and human rights matters. His class action practice covers price fixing, multi-jurisdictional competition law, and opioid crisis litigation, and he has been lead or co-lead counsel in cases against companies including Volkswagen and Microsoft, helping recover billions of dollars for injured consumers and other victims. He also acts for Indigenous peoples in a range of matters, including treaty infringement cases arising from the damming of the Peace River. Reidar has appeared as counsel at the Supreme Court of Canada in cases involving Indigenous rights, class actions and competition law, and international human rights, including Nevsun Resources Ltd. v. Araya (2020). He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1997.
