About David

David Jones is a partner at CFM Lawyers. His practice centers mainly on acting for claimants in class action litigation tied to competition law violations, among them price-fixing schemes and breaches of consumer protection laws. His case experience covers matters involving vitamins, hydrogen peroxide, DRAM, Microsoft, optical disc drives, batteries, CRT products, and the automotive sector, and he has played a significant role in a number of the major cases in these fields, among them proceedings at the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition, he acts for individuals pursuing product liability claims tied to aviation and industrial accidents. Before joining the firm, David held positions at major law firms both in Canada and internationally, and worked as an analyst in financial markets and in government. He completed his undergraduate studies in Economics at Queen's University, then earned a law degree at the University of British Columbia, before being called to the British Columbia Bar in 1994.
