About Recky

Recky Lai practises in Richards Buell Sutton's Insolvency and Estate & Wealth Advisory groups, assisting both debtors and secured creditors in foreclosure proceedings and asset recovery, as well as estate litigation matters involving will disputes. She completed a Department of Justice co-op and competed in the Harold G. Fox Moot during law school. Born in Taiwan and fluent in Mandarin, she brings cross-cultural experience from work terms in Asia and volunteers with the International Justice Mission. She holds a J.D. from the University of Victoria (2021) and a B.A. in Economics from the University of British Columbia (2017), and was called to the bar in 2022. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
