About Rebecca
Rebecca Loo is a partner in the Toronto office of Thorsteinssons LLP, focusing on Canadian commodity tax matters including the GST, HST and provincial sales taxes. She has written on GST/HST issues for publications such as Canadian Tax Highlights, Canadian Tax Focus and the CBA's Commodity Tax, Customs & Trade Section Newsletter. Before joining Thorsteinssons, she practiced at a boutique tax law firm. Rebecca holds a JD from the University of Toronto and a BCom from Queen's University, and belongs to the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Ontario.
