About Rani

Wong has practised law for over 25 years, dedicating her practice to family law and wills and estates after beginning her career as a corporate-commercial lawyer at national firms in Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary, and in a New York firm's Singapore office. Her family law practice covers divorce, cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements, property division, and support matters, with a particular focus on complex matrimonial property disputes involving high-net-worth families. She favours mediation, arbitration, and parenting coordination but litigates when necessary, and regularly works with valuators, forensic investigators, and other experts. She was appointed King's Counsel in 2022, is a past president of the Association for Women Lawyers, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2006 (Ontario 1999, British Columbia 1998).
