About Franca
Franca Akuneme, based in the Grande Prairie office, is an internationally trained lawyer who was admitted to the Nigerian bar in 2015 before relocating to Canada in 2018. She worked as a legal assistant in Grande Prairie while completing the Federation of Law Societies' J.D. equivalency requirements, then articled locally before joining Stringam and being called to the Alberta Bar in 2023. Her practice focuses on family law, real estate, wills and estates, and immigration law, and she has volunteered with Grande Prairie Legal Guidance.
