About Randann
Randann Sargent is a former police officer who became a criminal defence advocate at Advocate Law. He graduated with distinction from the University of Calgary with an undergraduate degree in law and society, minoring in political science, sociology, and philosophy, and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate at the University of Calgary. During his studies he worked alongside a criminal appellate lawyer researching homicide, drug trafficking, and search warrant issues. Since joining Advocate Law he has handled cases involving assault, theft, robbery, impaired driving, drug trafficking, and homicide, and has challenged the legality of search warrants in high-level drug trafficking cases. He specializes in defending immediate roadside suspensions and has completed roughly 200 IRS appeals with a success rate above the provincial average.
