About Rachel

Rachel is committed to supporting individuals through complex and meaningful legal challenges, with a practice covering family law, civil litigation, and estate litigation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Acadia University, with a double major in Politics and Psychology, and a J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University; her honours thesis at Acadia examined gender disparity trends in the Canadian legal profession, focused on Nova Scotia lawyers. Rachel joined Patterson Law first as a receptionist, then as a summer student and articled clerk, before returning as an associate lawyer. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2026.
