About Micaela

Micaela A. Sheppard is an associate at Weldon McInnis practising civil litigation, including real property disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, and corporate litigation, as well as estate litigation and wills and estates. A native of Halifax, she earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Development Studies from the University of King's College in 2011 and a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law in 2018. Micaela articled in Halifax, was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2019, and worked as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia doing legal research for judges before joining Weldon McInnis in May 2021.
