Family LawPeter Rumscheidt is a partner at Weldon McInnis practising civil litigation with a focus on personal injury, estate litigation, and family law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Dalhousie University in 1987 and graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1990, being admitted to the Nova Scotia bar in 1991. Peter practised with Goldberg Thompson from 1991 to 2010 and with Cox & Palmer from 2010 to 2015 before joining Weldon McInnis in 2015. He has appeared at all levels of court in Nova Scotia and is past president of the Design and Construction Institute of Nova Scotia and past chair of the Canadian Bar Association Nova Scotia's Construction Law Section. Peter is a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners and sits on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia.
