About Nina

Nina Kapferer brings an empathetic approach to her family law practice, combining legal knowledge with compassion for clients navigating separation and divorce. Since her call to the bar in 2022, she has sharpened her litigation skills at a boutique Toronto firm, with particular focus on high-conflict and domestic violence matters. Her experience spans nearly every stage of a family law file, from settlement-focused alternative dispute resolution to contested proceedings in court. Kapferer holds a Juris Doctor from Lakehead University's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Political Science, from the University of Western Ontario. She has a strong interest in access to justice and Indigenous legal issues, and is a member of the Advocates Society and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
