About Peter

Peter Coleman is a lawyer at Lewis & Associates LLP and an experienced trial lawyer who worked for eight years as a criminal defense lawyer in New York, at the Bronx Defenders and the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County, representing clients facing serious criminal charges with related immigration consequences. He also served for a year as judicial law clerk to the Hon. Michael L. Ravin of the New Jersey Superior Court. Peter earned his law degree with cum laude honors from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2012 and a Bachelor of Arts with great distinction from McGill University, majoring in political science with a minor in international development studies. He is a member of the Bar of Ontario and the New York State Bar, and speaks English, Spanish, and some Portuguese.
