Paul Carenza is a partner in the firm's Toronto office and member of the firm-wide Tax Group, working with Canadian and international clients in private and public sectors. For more than 20 years, he has specialized in providing income tax advice in domestic and cross-border corporate acquisitions, reorganizations, and financings. He represents clients in disputes with tax authorities and provides technical expertise on executive compensation matters, including compensation plan design and cross-border assignments. He also advises clients in the energy sector in Ontario on payments-in-lieu of taxes.
