About Patrick

Patrick Trelawny is a native Victorian who received his BA (Honours English) from the University of Victoria, his law degree from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, and a Master of Laws from the University of Alberta. He practised law in Calgary for seven years, gaining broad experience in corporate law, commercial transactions, business organization and strategy, intellectual property protection and licensing, and securities law, before joining Jones Emery in 1994. He provides general legal advice on organizational structuring and governance, contract matters, intellectual property, and employment law.
