About Parmpreet

Parmpreet K. Rai is a Barrister and Solicitor and Notary at Virtual Law Group who was called to the Alberta Bar in 2024. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay after completing a BA Honours in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Business Law, at Ryerson University in Toronto. Parmpreet gained much of her experience in Ontario, working in criminal law, real estate, corporate law, family law, wills and immigration, including time at a legal aid clinic and as a student Crown with the Criminal Crown Attorney's Office. Her current practice covers real estate, family, criminal, immigration and wills and estates matters across Alberta and Canada. She speaks English, Punjabi and Hindi.
