About Karla-Gae

Karla-Gae A. Sterling is an independent Barrister and Solicitor practising in complex commercial and civil litigation in Alberta, working with Virtual Law Group. She holds an LLB from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill and a Certificate of Legal Education from Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica, along with an earlier BSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Technology, Jamaica. Karla provides legal research, case analysis and drafting services to other lawyers, including briefs and factums for the Provincial Court, the Alberta Court of King's Bench and the Alberta Court of Appeal. Her experience includes condominium disputes, daycare litigation, legal professional negligence, unregistered interests in land, commercial leasing litigation, mortgage and foreclosure litigation, estate litigation, and oil and gas contamination disputes.
