About Owain

Owain Guinn is an associate who is developing a broad practice in commercial and civil litigation. He completed his articles at a Toronto litigation boutique, where he worked on complex commercial litigation and high-value class actions. Owain was called to the Ontario bar in 2025 after earning his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. As a student he was an active mooter, finishing as the top individual speaker internationally at the Oxford Price Media Law Moot in 2023 and reaching the Canadian finals of the Philip C. Jessup Moot in 2024. He also volunteered at Osgoode's student legal clinic, providing criminal defence to low-income members of Toronto's Jane and Finch community. Owain holds a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in History from McGill University and belongs to the Law Society of Ontario and the Advocates' Society.
