John-David D'Souza, known as JD, is an associate with Osler's Calgary office, practising in the Emerging and High Growth Companies group with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and general corporate work. JD has experience advising companies across their life cycle, from incorporation and organization to public securities offerings. D'Souza also works with fintech and blockchain clients, including on the regulation of crypto-asset trading platforms and decentralized autonomous organizations. D'Souza holds a J.D. from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Management in Finance from the University of Lethbridge. JD belongs to the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar Association.
