About Olivia

Olivia Dixon is a corporate and commercial litigation lawyer whose practice centers on energy litigation, construction litigation, and international commercial arbitration. Her energy work includes complex contractual disputes over leases, ownership interests, and operating and processing agreements, as well as litigation related to major resource projects, including judicial reviews, regulatory appeals, and constitutional and Indigenous claims. Her construction litigation experience covers performance, bid, and labour and materials bonds, along with disputes arising from scope and schedule changes. Olivia Dixon has appeared before the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, and the Federal Court of Appeal, and has conducted arbitrations under the UNCITRAL Model Law. She holds an LLM from Columbia University, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a JD with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. Before joining Osler, she articled and practised at another national law firm.
