About Norm
Norm Letalik has practised law in Ontario since 1989 and spent more than 25 years at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, where he was a litigation partner focused on marine, aviation, automotive and insurance law and led several national practice groups. He managed BLG's London, UK office from 1996 to 1998, and later served as General Counsel and Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer at Volkswagen Group Canada from 2015 to 2017. Norm has also held senior legal roles with Audi, Lamborghini and Bentley in Canada. He previously taught marine and shipping law at Dalhousie Law School and has published more than 50 legal articles. He holds an LL.M. (with distinction) and an LL.B. from Dalhousie University and an M.A. from Kent State University.
