About Nick

Nick Hooper is a partner at Wagners who joined the firm's medical malpractice and class actions groups in 2018. His practice focuses on representing victims of medical malpractice and plaintiffs in provincial and national class actions involving pharmaceuticals, pathology errors, product liability, defective medical devices, institutional abuse, and environmental contamination. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2017 and later completed a Master of Laws there on a full scholarship. He clerked for the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia during law school and was called to the bar in Nova Scotia in June 2019. Since 2024 he has also served part time as an Assistant Professor at the Schulich School of Law, teaching a course on advanced negligence and medical malpractice. He has published several peer reviewed articles, including one cited in leading legal textbooks.
