About Daniel

Daniel is a partner at Dale & Lessmann LLP practicing corporate and commercial law, with particular focus on Canadian and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, and day-to-day commercial and corporate advice. He also helps clients establish and expand operations across Canada and advises on family succession planning, corporate governance, reorganizations, joint ventures, and debt and equity financings. His client base spans professional services, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, private equity, mining, energy, and real estate and development. Daniel earned his B.Com. and J.D. from the University of British Columbia and was first called to the bar in British Columbia in 2010, later being called in Ontario in 2017. Outside the office, he has helped establish and advise elementary schools, high schools and private universities.
