About Clark
Clark Harrop is a partner in Dale & Lessmann LLP's Corporate & Commercial and Franchise, Licensing & Distribution groups. He works across corporate and commercial law, franchising, licensing, distribution, supply chain management and technology matters, serving clients in industries such as restaurants, grocery, home improvement, automotive and cannabis. Before joining the firm he spent nearly two decades in legal and business roles at Tim Hortons and McDonald's. In 2019 he was appointed to the Business Law Modernization and Burden Reduction Council, advising on updates to Ontario's business laws. He is active with the Canadian Franchise Association and sits on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association's franchise law section. Clark co-authored a chapter on franchising for the American Bar Association and has guest lectured at several Ontario universities. He was admitted to the Ontario bar in 1998 and holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. from York University.
