Nicola Melchers is the managing partner of SV Law and has been a partner there since 2013. She maintains a solicitor's practice covering business law, real estate, wills and estates, and land development, drawing on years of experience as a solicitor in the UK. Nicola qualified as a solicitor in England in 1994, practised there for four years, and then worked as in-house counsel for Lotus Cars International before moving to Ontario. She joined SV Law after articling with a national firm in Kitchener and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of East Anglia and attended the College of Law in Guildford, where she ranked in the top 5 percent on the Solicitors' Finals Examinations. Nicola is active in the Guelph and Cambridge communities, having served on hospital and community foundation boards.
