About Nico

Nico Rullmann is an associate at Black Burke Mayor, maintaining a broad practice in labour, employment, and human rights law. They obtained their law degree from the University of Victoria, where they received multiple awards for academic achievement and represented individuals at UVic's legal clinic, the Law Centre, and were named a distinguished oralist at the 2022 Willms & Shier Environmental Law moot, winning the D. Paul Emond award for best respondent's factum. Prior to joining Black Burke Mayor, Nico practiced insolvency and commercial litigation at a leading national firm, and is a committed pro bono advocate focused on representing the LGBTQ+ community.
