About Nicholas

Nicholas Peterson specializes in construction law, builders liens, commercial leasing disputes, estate litigation, and personal injury claims, and has extensive experience as a civil litigator representing clients throughout British Columbia courts. Before practising law he worked in various trades including hazardous tree removal and carpentry, which informs his construction sector expertise. He completed a judicial clerkship with six B.C. Supreme Court Justices from 2010-2011 and previously practised at national and plaintiff-focused firms. He holds a J.D. (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta (2010) and a B.A. from Kwantlen Polytechnic University (2007), and was called to the bar in 2012. He serves as 1st Vice President on the Executive Committee of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
