About Shannon

Shannon Tan joined Guild Yule LLP in 2023 as a summer articled student and returned in 2024 to complete her articles before being called to the bar. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2024, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia in 2017 and spending six years as a federal public servant. During law school she continued working part-time for the federal government, volunteered with the Law Students' Legal Advice Program, and served as Director of Finance for the TRU Access to Justice Club.
