About Neelofar

Neelofar is a member of Beard Winter's Insurance Litigation group, with a practice spanning commercial general liability, professional negligence, subrogation, personal injury, product liability, property damage, fire loss, and occupier's liability. She was called to the bar in 2021 and previously practised insurance defence and civil litigation at a litigation firm in Ottawa. She holds a combined J.D. and master's degree from the University of Ottawa and the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University. During law school she worked in the tenant law division of the University of Ottawa's Community Legal Clinic, representing low-income clients in tenancy matters, and clerked for judges of the Ontario Court of Justice. She is multilingual, fluent in Farsi/Dari and Hindi/Urdu with a working knowledge of Pashtu.
