About Naomi

Naomi Chernos is an associate at Osler, practising in the firm's Privacy and Data Management group. Her work helps organizations across many sectors manage privacy and data issues, from handling security incidents and regulatory investigations to advising on compliance programs, incident readiness, commercial contracts and data governance frameworks. Naomi earned her law degree at the University of Toronto after completing a graduate degree in English literature at Cambridge and an undergraduate honours degree combining English literature and physics at Queen's University. She previously volunteered as a caseworker with Downtown Legal Services and has written on topics including AI governance and privacy breach obligations for organizations in Ontario.
