About Monique

Monique Slade is an associate at Scarfone Hawkins LLP practising family law along with wills, estates, and trusts. She was drawn to family law early because the work calls for empathy and sensitivity, qualities she brings to clients going through difficult transitions. Monique aims to make the legal process as manageable as possible for the people she represents and takes a practical, efficient approach to resolving disputes. She earned an undergraduate degree in criminology from the University of Windsor and a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State Law School, and was called to the bar in 2021. She belongs to the Hamilton Law Association and sits on the firm's diversity committee, a cause she cares about personally.
