Monika is a Partner in Cox & Palmer's Fredericton office with more than 34 years of experience as an insurance litigator. She was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 1991 and later to the Ontario Bar, after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration and her law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1990. Her practice focuses on insurance defence litigation in general liability, motor vehicle, property, casualty, professional negligence and coverage matters, and she has served as Commissioner to the New Brunswick Public Utilities Board. Zauhar is fluent in English and French, is a past President of the Risk Management Counsel of Canada and past President of the Canadian Bar Association's National Insurance Law Section, and currently chairs the Compensation Fund Committee of the Law Society of New Brunswick.
