About Molly

Molly Bannister is an associate in the Regulatory, Indigenous and Environmental group at Osler's Calgary office. Her work has touched matters before several regulators, including the Canada Energy Regulator, the Alberta Utilities Commission, the Alberta Energy Regulator and the Land and Property Rights Tribunal. Bannister advises on major project applications, toll proceedings, environmental and decommissioning liabilities, and regulatory considerations that arise in acquisitions. Before joining Osler, she worked on regulatory aspects of renewable energy project financings in Alberta and Saskatchewan and took part in a Canada Energy Regulator toll proceeding. She holds a J.D. from the University of Calgary and a science degree in environmental and conservation science, focused on land reclamation, from the University of Alberta.
